Dr. Dersam is one of few M.D.'s who is board certified in Integrative Medicine and fellowship trained in Functional Medicine. Dr. Dersam and her staff are committed to providing preventative care focused on keeping our patients in optimal health, mind, body and spirit. As a former Emergency Physician, Dr. Dersam is especially passionate about the prevention of cardiometabolic diseases which are rising at an alarming rate in the United States. By exploring, in depth, your health journey, challenges, life factors and gene influencers, Dr. Dersam tailors a plan that is unique to you. Her focus is getting to the root cause of symptoms by looking for sources of inflammation, investigating genetic predispositions and addressing lifestyle changes that will lead to a longer, happier and healthier life for her patients. Dr. Dersam also provides a two visit Consultation for specific conditions. These are also offered through our Zoom HIPAA compliant telemedicine platform.
