Mary Brittain Blankenship

Dr. Blankenship is the founder of Spruce MD. She is board certified in internal medicine and has experience in both hospital medicine and cardiovascular inpatient medicine. She completed a fellowship in Integrative Medicine through the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine and also has expertise in utilizing technology to improve the delivery of medical care. Dr. Blankenship s passion for integrative medicine stems from a desire to provide medical care that is proactive rather than reactive, with a focus on nutrition and exercise. Spruce MD allows her the necessary time to provide care through education, enabling patients to make impactful changes in their health. For self-care, Dr. Blankenship enjoys running, road and mountain biking, yoga and traveling. She is an avid cook, voracious reader and amateur pilot.
