The BestDosage Scoring Methodology

Transparent. Science-informed. Published openly. Every score on BestDosage is calculated using the same rigorous framework — no pay-to-play, no hidden criteria.

Built by a Chemist

BestDosage was created by Chad Waldman — an analytical chemist who spent years developing measurement methodologies in the lab before applying that same rigor to the wellness industry. The BestDosage Score reflects a chemistry mindset: every data point is sourced, every weight is justified, and the full methodology is published for scrutiny.

In an industry plagued by unverifiable claims and pay-for-placement directories, BestDosage exists to bring analytical transparency to wellness decisions. Trust isn't claimed — it's earned through methodology.

Score Tiers

Elite9.0 – 10.0

Consistently outstanding reputation across a large volume of reviews, with credentials, services, and practice details fully documented.

Exceptional8.0 – 8.9

Excellent reviewed reputation backed by a substantial number of reviews, with a well-documented profile.

Highly Recommended7.0 – 7.9

Strong reviewed reputation with enough reviews to be meaningful, and solid supporting detail.

ListedNo score shown

Listed with the information we have, without a published score. We publish a score only at 7.0 and above — most often we withhold one because we do not yet have enough verified reputation data, which is a limit of our coverage rather than a judgement about the provider.

Our Transparency Commitment

Full methodology published openly — no black boxes

No pay-to-play listings — premium tiers are cosmetic only

Score disputes are investigated and corrected publicly
