Integrative Medical Insights Inc. Robert J. Bulgarelli, DO, FACC, CMA, FABIHM Founder and CEO A cardiologist by training Dr Bulgarelli is an expert in medical best practices and Integrative Medicine. He founded his health care consulting firm, Integrative Medical Insights Inc. (IMI) to provide important strategic clinical counsel to multiple disruptive companies (established and across they rapidly changing healthcare industry. He earned his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, is a board certified cardiologist and a designated fellow of the American College of Cardiology. In addition, Dr. Bulgarelli was a graduate of the inaugural class of the Associate Fellowship in Integrative Medicine under Dr. Andrew Weil at the University of Arizona. He also received his board certification as a Medical Acupuncturist from the Helms Institute for Medical Acupuncture. For over two decades, Dr. Bulgarelli was a busy interventional cardiologist with one of Pennsylvania's largest cardiology practices, Cardiovascular Associates of Southeastern Pennsylvania, prior to their acquisition by Mainline Health. Leveraging his extended training and interest in preventative health, Dr. Bulgarelli pivoted from private practice to serve as the National Medical Director for Highmark BCBS. There he managed a multidisciplinary team including clinical, informatics, and wellness groups to review medical utilization and cost data to create population health programs and cost containment solutions to large, self-funded employers. He founded IMI to provide consultative analysis and recommendations for multiple companies in the insurance industry, the growing integrative health sector and corporations with innovations in solving population health issues that are driving healthcare costs (clinical and financial). He is currently the VP of Physician Development for Med V Pro MD. He has been working closely with Marcie Shrom CEO for the last several years. She is creating a new Health Care delivery system for the United States and the world. He shares her, passion, supports her mission and applauds her unwavering commitment to realizing her vision for humanity. He has served as the consultative director of the cardiovascular division of Your Health Solution where he assisted with the production, development and editing of integrative and functional educational content. As consultant and interim Chief Medical Officer of Apollo Health New Practices he is responsible for design and implementation the company's lifestyle and behavioral health program addressing various disease states, most notable at this time, Metabolic Syndrome and Dementia. He has consulted for years with Physician Recommended Neutricuticals (PRN) now a division of KD Pharma that produce and a well researched and high quality Omega-3 fish oil through a physician distribution channel. He has consulted as a subject matter expert and lobbyist with 22nd Century Group who have developed a one of a kind solution to the crisis of nicotine addiction and ravages of tobacco use in the world. Dr. Bulgarelli remains in part time clinical practice as a hospital based cardiologist at Geisinger Holy Spirit in Camp Hill, remaining current and engaged with real-world healthcare experiences.
