About

Dr. Hackenmiller's passion lies in holistic care and natural medicine. “I love using more herbal and natural approaches, whenever possible, for the management of women's conditions,” says Dr. Hackenmiller. “Whether it's conceptual counseling, menstrual, fertility, pelvic floor and menopausal concerns, I believe in providing accessible high-quality care.” Dr. Hackenmiller says the twists and turns of her life, including raising a child on the autism spectrum and her late husband's death from cancer, have all shaped her practice. “The questions I ask my patients are to get to the root of their health conditions so they can return to living their best lives,” says Dr. Hackenmiller. “It's a joy to work alongside the compassionate colleagues at MercyOne.” She is triple board certified in OB-Gyn, Integrative Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine, is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner and holds certifications in herbal medicine, Ayurveda, science and medical writing and as a nature and forest therapy guide. She also serves as assistant clinical professor at University of Arizona Phoenix College of Medicine. Dr. Hackenmiller is also a published author of a children's book “A Friend Like John, Understanding Autism.” As an avid outdoor enthusiast, she has worked to build a program that connects providers with public parks who prescribe time in nature to improve patient health and well-being. “My life and career have taken numerous twists and turns from a general practice of obstetrics and gynecology to a fellowship in integrative medicine. Personal experiences including raising a child on the autism spectrum and losing a husband to cancer have shaped the questions I have asked and the answers I have sought for myself, my family, and my patients. As a result, I have explored and received certifications in herbal medicine, Ayurveda, science and medical writing, and I am a certified nature and forest therapy guide” states Dr. Bartlett Hackenmiller. With Dr. Bartlett Hackenmillers vast background she enjoys, “using more natural approaches, whenever possible, for the management of women's conditions ranging from preconceptual counseling to menstrual, fertility, pelvic floor and menopausal issues. I am also passionate about increasing access to high quality care via telehealth.”
