Maureen has over 20 years of healthcare experience. She is a board-certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Family Practice, an Institute of Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner, completed the Dr. Dale Bredesen's ReCODE protocol and a fellowship in Integrative Psychiatry, and is a certified diabetic and asthma educator. Maureen obtained her Bachelor's degree from University of Notre Dame, her registered nursing education at the Ravenswood College of Nursing, and her Master's of Science in Nursing at Rush University where she was selected as a Resident for the United States Department of Human Health Services Illinois Experiences and Rotations in Community Health Program. She has completed advanced training in both integrative and functional medicine. Maureen works with adolescents through seniors to reach optimal health via individualized healing plans, helping each person engage in his or her own path to improved health through a balance of the mind, body, and spirit. Her expertise ranges from brain health, stress, cardiovascular and chronic disease to hormone balance, digestive disorders, autoimmune conditions, nutrition and athlete optimization.
