Crown charges a premium price for its buds, but this time, we were happy to pay a little bit extra. Crown OG lives up to its promises.
This weed hit us strong and kept us very high for almost an hour. It didn’t have any side effects.
Glass jars are the best containers for eighths. This little jar is very easy to take with you on the go. Crown’s labeling provided us with everything we needed to know in an easy-to-read format.
An earthy, piney aroma escapes when you crack open the jar. There’s a light piney flavor when you smoke this strain, and it has little to no aftertaste.
To test this strain, a Best Dosage staff member smoked a 0.5g joint outside. We’d say a half-gram joint is the ideal way to fully enjoy the Crown OG experience.
If you’re looking for a powerful strain that will make you feel like a king, you’ve found a match. Crown OG costs a bit more than lower-shelf buds, but it’s worth the premium. These buds were quite clearly grown well and come from excellent genetic stock. Just keep in mind that Crown OG isn’t quite as indica-leaning as advertised.
Crown OG is listed as an indica strain, but to us, it had more sativa-esque effects. This strain made us feel lively, creative, and euphoric — aside from the euphoria, these aren’t traits usually associated with indica cultivars.
Bred as part of a collaboration between Crown Genetics and Las Vegas rapper Dizzy Wright, Dizzy OG is a cross of Crown OG and King Louis OG that often comes in at between 23-25% THC potency. Sharing the euphoric effects of Crown OG, Dizzy OG also takes after the strongly indica-dominant King Louis OG.
