Froot Gummies are distinguished by their low price in comparison to other THC edible brands. Depending on where you shop, it’s often possible to find a package of Froot Gummies for as little as $12-15, which is a lot lower than the $20-25 commanded by most gummy products.
What you get is somewhat lower-quality ingredients (think “artificial flavoring” instead of “natural”), but many cannabis users will appreciate the price decrease in comparison to their usual gummies. Overall, we’d say the value of Froot edibles is pretty much unbeatable in the competitive California market.
Each package of Froot Sour gummies consists of a single wheel that looks a bit like an orange. The package comes with a card you can use to break up the wheel to get an ideal dosage. Eating around 30mg, we started experiencing the effects of Froot edibles after about 40 minutes.
Non-sour Froot edibles are broken into separate gummies, 10 per package. They kicked in after the same amount of time as the Sour options, and the effects of all the Froot gummies we tried lasted around two hours.
Froot gummies come in basic plastic or mylar bags. The Sour gummies come in bags that are slightly smaller due to their compact shape.
There isn’t much about the imagery Froot uses on the front of their packages to indicate that their products contain THC. Turning the bag over, there’s a section with nutrition facts along with the usual California THC warnings.
Printed on the plastic with the same type of stamp used on conventional packaged food is the strain name, the UID, and the manufacturing date. We didn’t see any QR codes on Froot packages, which is somewhat unusual in today’s industry.
The flavor of Froot edibles is a lot like Haribo gummies, and the ingredients are the same as well. These gummies are terpene-infused, but that’s not very noticeable in the flavor. Some flavors are better than others with the Froot Cherry Gummies tasting like cough syrup and the Watermelon flavor tasting more like Sour Patch Kids.
In a nutshell, Froot edibles taste just like your average gas station or grocery store candy gummies but with added THC. For a healthier edible, choose Kiva Lost Farms, but Froot will do the trick for most.

Froot is a California cannabis edibles brand that recently appeared on the market with little fanfare and even less public information regarding its founding or founders. In the footnotes of the Froot homepage, however, you can find that the company is owned by Highland Park Patient Collective, a legal entity that once also owned a now-defunct Los Angeles cannabis dispensary of the same name in the Highland Park neighborhood.
Legal records suggest that Highland Park Patient Collective may have shut down due to a lawsuit. If so, Froot would represent a new attempt by the owners, Steve and Victoria Leon, to enter the cannabis market, this time from the adult-use side.
There is nothing that particularly commends Froot as a trustworthy brand. In huge letters on the homepage, for instance, it’s declared that Froot gummies are “made from natural ingredients,” a statement that is misleading since Froot edibles do not contain any fruit and are mainly made from sugar and corn syrup.
If you’re on the hunt for inexpensive THC edibles that will get you and your friends high, look no further than Froot. Those paying close attention to what they allow into their bodies, however, will be better off with a brand that genuinely only uses natural ingredients. Froot Sours are better for high-dosage users due to their all-in-one design while original Froot flavors are better for low-tolerance users.
Not sure whether Froot is the right brand for you? The following FAQs might help clear things up:
There are major differences between normal Froot gummies and their sour counterparts, so it’s hard to say which is objectively better or worse. The ingredients are about the same in both gummies, but the flavor of Froot Sour gummies is more potent and fills your mouth.
Most importantly, conventional Froot gummies come in the format you’re used to: Individual 10mg gummies. Froot Sour gummies, however, come in one big wheel that you’re supposed to break up into triangular sections. In the end, it’s easier just to take a bite, though.
Froot Sour gummies are better for sour candy lovers who don’t mind a slightly more confusing dosing system. Original Froot gummies are best for those who don’t like sour flavors or don’t want to break up their THC gummies before eating them.
The flavoring ingredients used in Froot edibles vary slightly depending on the flavor in question, but the basic Froot gummy formula consists of:
– Sugar, Corn Syrup, Pectin, Distilled Water, Citric Acid, Artificial Flavoring, Natural Terpenes, Cannabis Distillate Extract, Artificial Color
So, there’s very little about these gummies that would please a natural food lover, but the average cannabis user won’t be bothered.
Froot cannabis gummies certainly aren’t connoisseur-tier, but that’s not what you’re paying for. What you’re paying for is an inexpensive, effective gummy that will get you reliably high. In that respect, Froot cannabis edibles are just as good as the promises they make.
