Kooshy · free, done for you

Abandoned cart, rebuilt as three emails.

Today kooshy.com sends one email, Shopify's default: "You left items in your cart", a blue button, no product photo above the fold, no reason to come back. This is the same trigger rebuilt as a three-touch flow on Max Sturtevant's cart blueprint, in Kooshy's voice, from Kooshy's own photos, reviews and copy. Every file below passed a structure check, a light and dark client matrix, and ten device widths in three passes. Nothing on them is invented: the one offer is marked as a proposal and the amount is yours to set.

Why it is built this way. The cart, the subtotal and the button are the first thing on the screen. The shipping line does the maths for them: three bags in the cart, six ship free. Then it re-shows what they are buying, real sourdough, Non-GMO Project Verified, no artificial flavours, dyes or preservatives, all off your own bag, and lets Christina's review answer the soggy question. No discount in email 1.

Why it is built this way. A designed email after a designed email is wallpaper. A short note from a founder who asks what stopped them is a pattern interrupt, and the replies are the cheapest customer research you will ever get. It uses your own line about croutons that looked stuck on the shelf since 1985, and Christina again. Send it from an inbox a human reads.

$5 is sitting in your cart.

Why it is built this way. "$5 in your cart" is money they already have and will lose, which pulls harder than "15% off". It goes only to people who have never bought, so you are not paying a repeat customer to do what they were going to do. The objection block answers the one question every crouton buyer has, with a buyer's words, not yours. Then the training-wheels line, then the button again.

How to install. Shopify sends one abandoned checkout email natively: Settings, Notifications, Abandoned checkout, paste the Liquid version of email 1. The variables are Shopify's own: {{ url }} for the recovery link, {{ customer.first_name }}, {{ subtotal_line_items }}, {{ subtotal_price | money }}. Emails 2 and 3 need a flow tool, because Shopify's notification is a single send. Klaviyo is free at your list size and its Started Checkout trigger runs all three with a "has not placed an order since" exit and a first-time-buyer split for email 3. In Klaviyo, swap {{ url }} for {{ event.extra.checkout_url }} and the line-item loop for {% for item in event.extra.line_items %}. For the $5, create a fixed-amount discount code named CART5 in Shopify and the link in email 3 already appends ?discount=CART5. Images are hosted here on bestdosage.com and can stay, or move to your CDN. Happy to install it with you on a call.
