This is Lume’s bottom-tier weed, and it’s offered at a very affordable price. You might want to spring for slightly more smokable buds, though.
We experienced a rapid onset of effects that fully kicked in within 4 minutes. However, the effects of Lume Cookies & Milk only lasted 25 minutes.
As with all Lume packaging, we found the plastic container our gram of Cookies & Milk came in to be above standard with a nitrogen seal. Cultivar profile information was provided on the label, and the packaging was fully recyclable. Overall, though, it wasn’t very convenient to smoke this crumbly, over-dry gram of weed.
The Lume website states that caryophyllene is the dominant terpene in Cookies & Milk, which we confirmed from the taste and aroma of the buds. This strain had a very subtle but layered aroma profile. It was sugary and slightly musky like vanilla. The aftertaste, though, was slightly unpleasant—like hay or tobacco—resulting in dry mouth.
This is an overdried product not optimal for joint rolling. We sampled it in a brand new glass pipe with around 0.6g of flower. We’d suggest using this gram over 1-2 sessions.
Like all of Lume’s $8 grams, this plastic container of Cookies & Milk is targeted at folks who don’t want to pay full price for weed. Michiganders may be luckier than residents of neighboring Illinois when it comes to cannabis prices and choices, but it remains a fact that you get what you pay for.
