This is a great price for an eighth. Especially in light of the increased value these well-cured buds offer compared to other Lume nugs, we were happy to fork over $25 for our 3.5g of Lume Cheese Quake weed.
This weed has a rapid onset of effects that we felt in less than 5 minutes. The effects persisted for about 45 minutes in total.
Lume uses the same packaging for its grams and its eighths, and we think this round plastic container is much more appropriate for 3.5g of weed. Even so, we weren’t impressed by the clear plastic jar, which offers poor resealability.
The Lume website indicates that the dominant terpenes in Cheese Quake are myrcene, linalool, and limonene. We detected a subtle aroma that was both pungent and sour.
This strain had a very nice flavor profile that was floral and sweet with a clear essence of linalool. The flavors of the terpenes in Lume’s Cheese Quake came through loud and clear.
We smoked this eighth over the course of around seven 0.5g sessions. At this rate, our 3.5g of Cheese Quake lasted about 3 days, which we would say offers an ideal dosage.
This $25 eighth is great for cannabis users who are willing to go a little past the $10 mark to enjoy a corresponding increase in quality. Based on our experience, Lume puts a lot more effort into its eighths than its grams, and you save by buying this brand’s weed in larger sizes.
