Honestly, $5 isn’t much more than you’d spend for a conventional craft sparkling water these days. By keeping the doses low, Lagunitas makes its THC beverages surprisingly affordable.
We started feeling the effects of our Lagunitas Hi-Fi Sessions 2:2 Cloudberry sparkling water after around half an hour, and the pleasantly light benefits persisted for around two hours.
It’s hard to mess up a can of sparkling water, and Lagunitas does a good job of taking this basic product form and adapting it to cannabis. The safety cap might not outsmart a 12-year-old, but it will quite effectively keep a toddler or small child from accidentally drinking cannabis water. No problems here.
There’s a pleasantly light aroma of melon and berry when you pop open the can. This cannabis beverage smells light, tart and juicy. When you drink it, you notice the melon-berry aroma. The sparkling water tastes just like it smells with a slightly tart finish and light berry aftertaste.
To test this product, a Best Dosage staff member drank the entire serving in one sitting after pouring the drink over ice. We recommend this dosage, and don’t skip the ice — it’s much better than drinking a Lagunitas Hi-Fi Sessions 2:2 Cloudberry from the can.
Lagunitas doesn’t include any terpenes in its cannabinoid drinks, so this Cloudberry sparkling water won’t have either indica or sativa effects. We recommend this product to either casual THC users looking for a convenient way to use a small dose or habitual cannabis users looking for a new, refreshing way to dose during the day.
Lagunitas Hi-Fi sparkling water drinks contain 2mg THC each, which is enough to cause mild intoxication. Drinking a single Hi-Fi, however, isn’t enough to get you seriously high. Try closer to five cans.
Lagunitas became widely known for its craft beer-inspired Hi-Fi Hops, which contain hops and taste just like beer. At 5mg THC and 5mg CBD, this drink contains significantly higher doses of THC than Lagunitas sparkling waters.
You can use the store finder on the Lagunitas website to find dispensaries that sell this brand’s products. Or, you can search for Lagunitas Hi-Fi sparkling waters using popular cannabis delivery sites like WeedMaps, Eaze, or Amuse.
Before the committee gets their hands on the product and formally rates it, the BestDosage team scrapes the product packaging, scours the internet, and occasionally calls the brand directly to hunt down the most accurate information about each product.
