We paid around $40 for an excellent 7g bag of weed. That’s a win whichever way you look at it.
As has happened with some FloraCal strains we’ve tried, Apple Runtz took a while to kick in. Once it did, however, the balanced hybrid effects of this strain did plenty to lift our moods while also making us relaxed. This strain never seemed to quite “get us there,” however, while other FloraCal strains certainly have.
It’s perfectly fine packaging for what it is. The bag is easy to carry with you and features a small viewing window on the back. It’s nothing like FloraCal’s ornate glass jars, though.
We thought this strain smelled doughy, sweet, and floral from the moment we took our first whiff. There was gas and sweetness when we started puffing on Apple Runtz in a joint, and there was tartness on the exhale. This strain has an easy exhale that will not burn your throat.
We rolled Apple Runtz into a joint to try it. The strain was easy both to grind and to roll.
If you want to enjoy a balanced hybrid high for a while without paying all that much, this is the product for you. Compared to other FloraCal strains, the effects of Apple Runtz might be a bit disappointing, but at $40 a bag, it’s hard to say no this beautiful and effective-enough weed.
Originating from a strain now called “Runtz OG,” the Runtz lineage is known for its potent hybrid effects. Many cultivars of Runtz-related weed have now been bred, and the best contain between 25% and 30% THC while featuring excellently preserved terpenes.
Like most strains in the Runtz family, Apple Runtz is a balanced hybrid strain. It won’t make you feel too energetic, but it also won’t sedate you to any significant degree.
