In all of their products, CODA Signature follows the philosophy of flavor pairing, which is when you combine two seemingly opposing flavors to create a delectable taste sensation. In these Burnt Caramel truffles, this flavor pairing is derived from the dichotomy between sweet and bitter. Caramel is almost sickeningly sweet on its own, but burnt caramel tastes surprisingly bitter.
Despite containing 10mg of THC per truffle, we couldn’t detect any noticeable cannabis taste in either the chocolate shell or the caramel filling. The crunchiness of the shell contrasted excellently with the creaminess of the filling, which was delightful and delicious.
We found that the easiest way to eat these truffles was in two separate bites. To fully establish the effects of our CODA Signature truffles, we ate two in one sitting. Well, we also had a hard time stopping once we dug into these gourmet cannabis treats.
The primary effects of our truffles set in within around 40 minutes, and they lasted for almost two hours. As is often the case with low-dose edibles, the effects of our CODA Signature truffles weren’t remarkably profound, but they were certainly noticeable. We felt relaxed and slightly stoned for the duration of the main effects, and we felt calm and satisfied afterward.
We felt that 1-2 truffles provided the best dosage for these CODA Signature Aria Collection chocolates. You’re free to take more than that if you want, but these truffles are so exquisitely flavorful that you might get overwhelmed. Share a box with friends, and sink into a mild and refined form of cannabis bliss.
CODA Signature Coffee and Doughnuts Chocolate Bar – for coffee lovers.
This is the perfect cannabis chocolate bar for coffee drinkers. Learn why we loved the flavor and effects of this ethically sourced chocolate from CODA Signature.
The Aria Collection is the pinnacle of the CODA Signature product line. According to CODA, these artisan chocolates were designed to “[touch] all the senses,” and that’s certainly the experience we had with our Burnt Caramel truffles.
Each truffle is hand-painted. Let that sink in for a moment. CODA Signature takes the time to paint each and every truffle, and the paint job provided is anything but random or sloppy. Every truffle looks like a work of art, and this dedication to excellence extends to the substance of the truffles as well.
CODA Signature has partnered with República del Cacao, which is an ethical Latin American chocolate producer that uses sustainable cacao, milk from grass-fed Andean cows, and an unrefined type of sugar called panela. The result is a truffle that you can sink into without any concerns about contaminants entering your body or the environment.
Here’s a summary of some of the highest points of these gourmet cannabis truffles:
CODA Signature Aria Collection truffles aren’t a tool for getting stoned. They’re art pieces that have the added benefit of containing 10mg of THC each. Even if you ate an entire box of truffles at once, you wouldn’t get blitzed. Savoring one truffle at a time, however, allows you to enjoy a refined approach to cannabis that also stimulates your senses of sight, taste, and smell.
These truffles are novelty edibles that you’ll want to enjoy sparingly. If you’re the type of cannabis connoisseur who likes to take their time getting to know a new high-end product, you’ve found a match.
