We think that the CANN beverage line closely resembles what cannabis-infused drinks will look like in five years once major CPG manufacturers like Coca Cola and Pepsi explode onto the scene. Over $20 might seem like a lot to pay for 30g of THC, but with CANN Social Tonic, it’s about quality — not quantity.
Depending on your dispensary, you might find a 6-pack of CANN Social Tonic for less than $20. Regardless, you’ll pay something in that range, which is a full double what even the most artisanal craft brews cost.
The effects of our CANN Social Tonic predictably kicked in after around 30 minutes every time. Like most orally ingested THC products, their effects lasted a little more than 90 minutes.
Our CANN Social Tonic came in convenient, standard-sized cans with simple flip-tops. The standard aluminum cans don’t heat up when held.
We’ve tried pretty much every flavor of Social Tonic CANN has put together. Overall, we love the inventiveness of this cannabis brand’s drink flavoring and are especially fond of the blood orange and grapefruit flavors, which are expertly balanced with cardamom and rosemary respectively.
In our experience, around 1-2 cans of CANN per night provides the perfect dosage. A sparkling water isn’t the type of product you reach for when you want to get blitzed, and the 5mg dosage per can is perfect for getting pleasantly high while easily watching your dosage.
Excellent for new cannabis users, these relatively low-dosage cans of cannabis-infused sparkling water don’t taste particularly strongly like THC. Drink one with your appetizer and have another post-dinner — just remember to order an Uber since your eyes might be quite low by that point.
Here are a few things you might not know about CANN Social Tonic:
If you’re in the state of California, you can buy CANN Social Tonic in most major cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Palm Springs. You must be at least 21 years old, though, and California has other restrictions in place for certain cannabis products.
2. How much does CANN cost?
Prices vary based on dispensary, but in most cases, a six-pack of CANN Social Tonic costs around $20. Our 6-pack cost $24, which is steep for beverages that only contain mmg THC each. Trust us, though — you wouldn’t want your CANN sodas to be any stronger.
Before the committee gets their hands on the product and formally rates it, the BestDosage team scrapes the product packaging, scours the internet, and occasionally calls the brand directly to hunt down the most accurate information about each product.
