I’ll freely admit it: I tore my first few Burnwell vape packages.
They make them too fancy, okay?
Burnwell’s vape cartridges are “child-proof,” which means they’re made with cardboard in an unusual design that bars the entry of all fingers save the strongest. To get started, you hold the sides of the box near the bottom and press in the middle until you feel a pop.
Somehow, I got the sides you were supposed to hold and squeeze mixed up or something, and the package got torn in two. All the same, I got the cartridge out and attached it to my battery.
Over time, I’ve come to really appreciate Burnwell’s unique vape cartridge packaging. It’s essentially useless except for its intended purpose, but its childproof, eco-friendly attributes speak volumes to the values and integrity of Burnwell as a brand.
Perhaps I was preconditioned by the fact that I knew Burnwell Candy Jack was a live resin cartridge. All I truly know is the first thing I thought upon inhaling a hit was that this cartridge tasted just like clean, top-shelf dabs.
Rather than blasting me with an overwhelmingly fruity flavor like many sativas, my Burnwell Candy Jack 1g Live Resin Vape had a piney, almost chemically aroma while still tasting completely all-natural. It wasn’t bitter, but it was very gassy.
I could tell from a single taste that my cart was unusually terpene-rich. Taking a look at the back, I confirmed my suspicions by finding that the total terpene concentration in my Burnwell Candy Jack cartridge is 14.26%. Compared to the cartridge’s 59.6% total cannabinoids, that’s not a bad ratio.
Only very rarely do I have anything to complain about when it comes to the activation time of cannabis vape pens. In almost every case, I start feeling effects within 1-2 minutes, and the same was the case for the Burnwell Candy Jack 1g Live Resin Vape.
I’d say this cannabis cartridge is mid-tier when it comes to duration of effects. Throughout the five or so days it took me to finish my cart, I found the effects of Candy Jack to last an average of 50-100 minutes.
This cart’s effects were strongly sativa, and they provided the exact type of energetic boost that I like to experience throughout the day. Candy Jack can make you feel a little worn down if you puff too much of it at night, however.
All you need of Burnwell Candy Jack to get you in the zone is a puff or two every hour or so. If you’re hankering to go on a spaced-out sativa blitz, up the dosage at your discretion. As a live resin cartridge, the Burnwell Candy Jack 1g Live Resin Vape isn’t quite as potent as other cannabis carts, so feel free to sample the heady, indulgent flavor of Candy Jack to your heart’s content.
Burnwell fills a void in Eastern Washington’s cannabis selection. With most big brands all the way on the other side of the North Cascades, high-quality live resin THC vapes can be hard to come by in the Spokane area.
In my opinion, however, some of Burnwell’s products compete with Artizen or any of WA’s other greats in terms of quality, flavor, and design. This brand’s live resin vape cartridges, in particular, are at least on par with the best live resin carts I’ve tried.
With the growth in nearby Coeur d’Alene, Idaho skyrocketing, the growth potential for Burnwell is extensive. I was thoroughly impressed by most of Burnwell’s product offerings and only found room for improvement in a handful.
You have to be a sativa lover to be a good fit for Candy Jack. It’s about the furthest thing from a chill indica I’ve ever inhaled.
If you love live resin quality and you’re in Eastern Washington, however, you can’t go wrong with Burnwell. This brand’s cartridges are delicious, they’re well-designed, and they deliver the effects of THC at maximum effectiveness while still with plenty of pomp and circumstance.
Have any lingering questions about Burnwell’s live resin vape take on Candy Jack?
Burnwell can be hit and miss. I find this brand’s live resin vape cartridges and flower grams to be excellent, but Burnwell’s pre-rolls leave something to be desired. With the right attention and funding, I can see Burnwell becoming a cannabis bastion in Eastern Washington with expansion potential into the rest of the state and beyond.
In my opinion, yes. Experts recognize live resin as a superior alternative to distillates, isolates, and other types of cannabinoid extracts that don’t properly preserve terpenes.
More than simply making cannabinoid products smell and taste good, terpenes have a wide range of benefits, and they appear to synergize with cannabinoids to provide augmented, enhanced effects. Live resin contains more terpenes, and the more terpenes, the better.
You can buy Burnwell vape carts, flower, pre-rolls, and other products at Cannabis & Glass locations throughout the Spokane area. This brand’s mid-range, innovative products are also available at a variety of other area dispensaries.
