There isn’t much you can say about the flavor profile of a gel capsule. Our ABX THC Softgels were entirely flavorless going down, and they were easy to digest, so we never experienced any weed-tasting belches.
Each softgel looked just like any other type of softgel we’ve come across. Slightly oval, and not overly large. The high-quality distillate inside looked golden-brown, and it didn’t have any greenish tint, which can be a sign of a shoddy extraction process.
The packaging our ABX THC Soft Gels came in was nothing to write home about. It consisted simply of a small cardboard box containing 30 softgels. What was truly impressive about our THC softgels wasn’t their presentation, but their effects.
With orally ingested THC products, it’s common to wait 45-60 minutes to experience effects. In some cases, the length of time it takes for orally ingested THC products to take effect is dictated by the type of product, but the type of concentrate used can also have an impact.
We were mildly surprised when our ABX THC Soft Gels kicked in slightly before 30 minutes were up. We had taken two of the 5mg capsules to start, and we were impressed both by the fast activation time these gel caps provided and the strength of the effects. For only 10mg, the effects of two low-dose ABX THC Soft Gels were strong enough to please even the most tolerant stoner.
The effects of the 5mg capsules wore off within around two hours. So, we decided to try the 25mg version of the ABX THC Soft Gels next. While they kicked in within the same 30-minute window, the effects of a single 25mg capsule were considerably stronger. We experienced a potent body high that lasted more than four hours.
We bought the 100mg of the ABX THC Soft Gels at the same time as the 5mg and 25mg options. After our experience with the 25mg dose, however, we decided to hold off on trying the 100mg for the time being. This strength option is only appropriate for extreme THC users who don’t mind getting blitzed out of their minds.
Our ABX THC Soft Gels didn’t cause any negative aftereffects. On the contrary, these capsules seemed to reduce symptoms of headache and assist with sleep.
